Vigilant all round. The right light is an important factor in helping to improve concentration and productivity in offices and other work areas. This makes the BLS infrared presence detector with classic multi-lens the perfect choice when it comes to managing lighting efficiently, such as in large offices, meeting rooms, training rooms and classrooms. Behind the multi-lens there's a STEINEL sensor system made up of three parallel-connected, highly sensitive pyro sensors and a light sensor. The BLS uses this system to detect even the tiniest of movement among persons present and switch on room lighting irrespective of daylight intensity. The three pyro sensors have a reach of 12 m in each direction. The presence detector can be matched to room characteristics using shrouds to mask out segments of the detection zone. Light level, time and twilight threshold can be infinitely varied. This means the BLS infrared presence detector not only ensures the right light at the right moment but also optimises the building's energy balance.
